AIG sells smoke and mirrors.

While they advertize a male age 40 could get $250,000 of coverage for less than $15 dollars per month very few will qualify for the advertized rates.

Their term insurance rates are nothing more than bait and switch.

There are other companies out there who have just as competitive rates and they have real human beings with common sense making underwriting decisions rather than mindless robots putting medical and family history into a computer and have the computer ignorantly select the underwriting class.

AND beware of the 11th year premium explosion on their 10 year level term. If you become un-insurable you won't be able to afford that policy.

My 3 cents.

Old Line Life Insurance Company used to be a great company to do business with BEFORE AIG bought them.

I'm now making an obscene hand jester at my computer screen and no AIG I'm NOT signifying you are #1.

See how stupid computers are?
