We talk about quality time with our kids, but what about the elderly people in our families, Do we spend enough time with them? Do we let our children spend enough time around grandma or grandpa or both?
When you see a grandparent with their grandchild there are always so proud, I have seen them out and about and the smile on the old mans face was priceless
How many of us have a family picture of your children with their grandparents, it don't have to be done at a studio or a store, it can be done with a plain old disposable camera and frame, great valentines day gift for grandma or grandpa.
I have read many posts about our kids but don't see much about our parents, what is your story, do you do anything special with your grand parents? Can you start with this valentines day? Will you start this valentines day?

What a great idea, I would love to see the families of the people in the personal care home that I work at to come in and spend time with their loved ones on Valentines day, that would be nice, unfortunately this day passes like any other. I will back them something special for that day. The staff will make sure that they get valentines, we take care of them. But it should would be nice to see some family pop in and surprise someone.
