| I recieved a letter from AAA. In that letter it reads," If you agree to use our recomended auto repair dealer, we will cause the damaged vehicle to be restored to its condition prior to the loss at no additional cost to you other than as stated in the insurance policy or as otherwise allowed by law." 8,500 repair cost and about 1,000 over local market value. Can I still have my truck fixed? |

You may, since they are stating they would bear the cost to repair the car and you're not required to bear the extra expenses.
Many insurer may prefer to get the job done by the repair shop that is participating in their direct repair program, since it'll save their adjusters from visiting the repair shops to monitor the repair work. |

Apparently they are saying it's repairable now...call the adjuster that sent the letter to be sure, that someone didn't screw up, then get it fixed... _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake.
