Our point is that we've never seen gross income paid, they should be paying your net...if they discover this error before you get this claim settled they can reduce it...
Have you made sure that 5k is indeed the total amount of your med bills?

A little off-topic, postee, but if you're talking about Medicaid benefits for nursing home care and whatnot, Google "look back rule." As I recall, the period was extended from 3 to 5 years in 2006.
