the viney bush is overgrown and the neighbor has a motor wheelchair on opposing side making the driveway very narrow fit. so, when this hidden rod hit my drivers side mirror and cracked it all and snapped the plastic cover also. i tried to fix but its all tweaked at the actual door frame and its electric.

Well sounds like you need a new mirror...have you turned it in to your carrier? Doubtful that your apt. complex will assume any responsiblity for this..you can try but dout it...if you have collision coverage turn in a claim...or go by a couple of body shops and get estimates...if money is a problem ask them to look for a used or aftermarket mirror...is there any damage to the door or fender? _________________ ************************************ Life gaurantees a chance NOT a fair shake ********************************** FIND a way EVERY day to lighten the load of another ************************************

this repair isnt that much money....i dont think it deserves a claim. if you have an older car, you can go to a junkyard and get a replacement mirror for cheap. auto insurance
