| DUE TO A INJURY ON MY JOB WHICH LEFT ME OUT OF WORK FOR A YEAR.RUINED MY CREDIT AND MADED MANY OF MY PAYMENTS LATE.NOW AT THE TIME OF REWENAL MY INSURANCE IS GOING UP IN PRICE. IS THERE ANY HOPE IN ME GETTING CHEAPER CAR INSURANCE. |

Debra, I think you need to shop around and see if you get lower rates.
Premium rates, however, might not depend only upon the bad credit. There are other factors too that would affect the premium rate, like-your driving record, premium payment history and like that.
How is your driving record? How many claims did you have till date?
You have mentioned about late payments, does it include premium payments as well?

Yes, there's hope that you might achieve a better rate..but did you shop?
I don't see any reason why you should not obtain a better rate in a competitive market. There's no hard and fast rule as to how much should be the rate of increase for those who have bad credit marks. Many of the insurance carriers wouldn't put so much weight on your past credit hazards as that of their fellow competitors. So, shopping could be one good option for you..wanna try!
