| You should contact an attorney. They probably will give you a free consultation which could provide information. Also your insurance co. should have people working for them that are trained to deal with and go after what the other parties insurancae company owes you. If claims were filed this should have been automatic and each should be investigating the accident. However if either party did not notify their insurance this could drag out the whole process for a while. The process can be long any way, and it being fully resolved can take a long time depending on the specific circumstance. |

The _real_ question is why they are not paying. Are they not accepting liability? If not, what is the reason that they gave. As far as we know, the accident happen a couple of days ago and they are still investigating. Or perhaps the other person's policy was canceled, etc.
The attorneys being mentioned don't handle property damage. They handle injuries only and this is how they get paid. If they are not going to get paid, they are not going to assist.
OP, please post more information as to why the other carrier is not paying and also about what happen in the accident. |

Have you received any claim denial from them? Tcope is absolutely right, you should let us know why they are not paying. If they have denied the claim they should state it in writing.
The time passed in between is another reason of concern. The insurance company is required to settle the claim within a reasonable time period, which hasn't happened in your case. Is the insurance company still investigating into the matter? Have you informed your insurer about the accident?
Thanks,
