Yooh, details please.
I assume that the other vehicle involved in the accident was at-fault, right? Have you filed with his insurance company, or you have filed it against your carrier?
Is the car repairable? |

Hi yooh_n_meeh_4evr,
Did you pay-off your loan?
I guess its your insurance carrier and hence they're paying it to the lien-holder. They'd pay up to the pay-off value. They are the real title-holder till the point of time you pay-off your loan.

Does your contract have any specifications regarding this?

| The payment will only be sent to you if it is YOUR car. If they are sending it to the lien holder, it is because they own a portion of your vehicle (easy way to look at it anyway). There are a lot of people that think they are entitled to insurance money when they don't really own the vehicle! |
