I guess the electric cars pose more risks for the insurance carriers. They are theft-prone and bear more chances of getting totaled when they meet with an accident. Insurance companies would certainly charge more towards the premium of such cars.

Well, to tell you the truth my younger brother had a fascination for electric cars and it got stolen when he was enjoying his time at a wayside inn. But yeah, I thought I had also noted a few problems associated with such cars a few days back-

Do you all think that the parts that these cars have inside are always available in the market? I believe these cars have their own engineering techniques, and therefore their repair charges are higher.
