You may have to contact an auto insurance agent.

You may also visit some of the insurance companies' sites. Most of them would offer you the facility to get quote for your car and also compare the quotes of their competitors. You may need to feed some personal information there, but don't put information that may threat your security.

I hope it won't be an issue to get coverage for a second hand car.

Hi cyberdatacare

If you wish you may even use the internet to collect information. Several companies offer online insurance quotes. Before you get in touch with an agent, you may try getting an online quote so that you can have a fair enough idea about how much you might have to spend on your vehicle. Make sure to collect the quote from more than 2 or 3 companies so that you have a good number of quotes to choose from.

Again, even if you see an insurance agent, get insuarnce quotes from at least 3-4 companies. You will find it easy to compare and choose a policy that suits your needs.

Hi cyberdatacare,

How old is your car?
Do you choose to carry comprehensive coverage?
I'd rather go for a third-party insurance, theft insurance and fire insurance if the car worth is not more than 10 folds of it's premium.
