Does every person in a household have to be listed on a policy for them to drive a car.

If they get into an accident its like you got into one. Its your car and if they dont have insurance you might be responsible for everything.

Hi,
See..I think it is always better to safeguard your family's interests. PIP coverage would truly come in handy whenever you've met with an accident and you won't need to worry about the others who drive your cars. All of their medical expenses would be taken care of. Roddick

My son is 15, and he's talking about driving ALREADY!!LOL I went to my insurance company, just to gt a quote, if I added him to my insurance. wasn't TOO bad of a 'hike'. Anyway..........my question is if my son drives his father's car, his father is responsible to put him on HIS insurance, even though my son would on mine?

yes, he would be but unless he's a permanent resident there he wouldn't have to name him, but he should still be considered an 'insured' under the policy (permissive user)
