I've come across so many insurance forum discussions referring to pain and suffering damages! Most of these discussions have reflected some doubtful areas while measuring the worth of pain and suffering. You may expect more compensation for damages if the accident is bad. You could expect more in terms of damages if the other party was drunk or had violated driving norms.

There is no true measurement or formula. All carriers have their own system(s) for determining this..And regions vary as well...Of course pain and suffering is totally subjective.
