Where can I find court info in hit/run rear end

I was involved in a hit/run rear end collision accident. The driver who hit me has no insurance, doesn't speak english, 3 alias', 5 other charges with dui, open container, no license. shows up to court in a wheelchair and an interperter. charged with no license, a given a $100 fine. Plus $250 restitition to cover the deductable on my car, that he will likely never pay. All the other charges; leaving the scene, open container, no insurance, not stopping for blue lights are being turned over to the state. My question is: at what point do I ask for further restitution and where do I find the court info?

You call the prosecuting attorney and ask if you can be a witness in the criminal trial. You also ask if you can be allowed to make a statement to the court at sentencing.

you could contact the court clerk where the preceedings were held. They should be able to help you.

The best place to find court information is from an attorney first and foremost. If you don't want to hire an attorney, then you should check out your local law library. A lot of counties have a law library and they are usally in or near the court house. This is a good place to seek the help you are looking for. The attendant or librarian may actually have some good knowledge as well and can point you into the right direction. I feel for someone you your situation and would like for you to get these drivers off the road. If you don't have or can't afford insurance, then you can't afford to drive. It is that simple, people who continue to do so are facing much more severe penalties and are losing rights.
