If my car broke down on the highway and i spent an amount to take it to a mechanic, can i claim this amount from my insurance company??

If my car broke down on the highway and i spent an amount to take it to a mechanic, can i claim this amount from my insurance company??
I assume you are talking about the amount of the tow bill....yes, you can be reimbursed ONLY if you have 'road side assistance' coverage on your policy.
