Another Option>> A good way to restrict the insurance costs is through group insurance programs. A few days back I got a call from a tele-sales rep. regarding a health advantage offer. For a seemingly beneficial package I was supposed to pay a premium worth $306.00. But for the same pack of benefits if I add a floater naming my wife as a beneficiary, then we would need to pay a quarterly premium worth $450.00. So, we can easily see how it would have been costlier, had we opted for individual policies instead of our present offer.
