I thank you for your reply to my post. I have another quick question 4 you if I may? The will is my Aunts. She died in 1996. The residuary was left to my Dad. He died in 2001. In my Aunts will she said that she would like to see LARGE part of her estate go to my Dads children(being us. She said that"Twice". But she left a clause for my to, that if he didn't survive her then the residue would belong to his children, but he did survive her. But then I read in the California probate codes the the state of California DOES NOT go by that in peoples wills/estates. My Dad died w/alzheimers disease

Is there a way to find if my name is on a policy somewhere?? There is nothing this guy does that iIS LEGAL so that's why to me it's not that FAR FETCHED....

Hi BNTRS, You responded to my post earlier in the week and thank you so much, it really helped. I have a follow up question though, if you could please respond it would greatly ease my worried mind! I don't know if you saw it on the boards, plus it might be a tricky answer you don't want to post publicly so I'm PMing you. Here's your response with my 2nd question below. I really appreciate it! Kelly

If it's a group plan there is no underwriting so there would be no admitting to undergoing IVF in the application process.

The guarantee will be up to the policy, you'll want one with decent maternity coverage. Assuming that it has it, and you are enrolled once the plan is accepted (don't see a lot of reason why it wouldn't be) you'll have coverage.

Thank you BNTRS! So on the employee application, where you're supposed to list any prescription meds taken within the last 6 months I should just leave it blank? That's the part I was referring to admitting I was going through IVF; it asks what meds and the reason. Thanks, Kelly

Selling medicare supplementals, long term care, life, etc. to the senior market. They offer products exclusively to seniors.

The agency is an independant through Universal American and Pennsylvania Life. I do not know too much about it.

Let me ask you a really dumb question.... They supply us with 15 - 20 leads per week, that was the guarantee. If we're offering products exclusively to seniors how do you solicit new business and find new customers? I know this is probably a lame question but I am not sure you how ould grow your business as an independent agent without the capital to invest in marketing, such as telemarketing, mass mailings, etc..

Any thoughts on Universal American?

Also. Like anyone out there I would love to make 100K a year. But I'm coming at this with a realistic approach. If I could clear 40K a year the first year then I would be happy and continue to grow my business from there. Is this a realistic expectation?
