Anyone who carries a mortgage on a building will be smart to get building insurance.

If you own the building you work out of you need insurance. This will ensure that all your belongings are covered and can be reimbursed.

You will need to read the contract carefully. Building insurance my only cover the structure itself, you may need a separate policy for the items in the building.

I agree, check with an agent to see if you need coverage, and if you do exactly what kind you may need.

Anyone who owns or rents a business premises needs building insurance. If the property is under mortgage, then the landlord or lender will maintain a building insurance policy being in place as a condition of the loan.
