If only people were smart enough to figure this out. There would be no big corrupt insurance companies. Governments would not steal money. Socialism would be curb. People lived for so long without insurance and everything was fine. Insurance is immoral. Check out (link removed by lori)

Hi, ANDY. I tried to look up the website, you have in your post. It comes up (..for me, anyway..), "error, no website available." I'm wondering if you can tell me what the website is, the contents, etc. Also..I'm very curious, where you come up with the opionion that all Insurances Co's are frauds? Are you speaking of a specific (Health, Life, etc) one?

Pretty tricky there Andy, your link to (I can only assume) YOUR site, to PURCHASE any type of insurance you want....anyone that would get a quote from that page after a post like this has lost their pea pickin' mind.

"Only fools get covered."...........Being covered by SOME KIND of Medical Insurance is better than having a HUGE Medical bill, that may be impossible to pay. Don't you think? Not ALL Medical Insurance Co's are "corupt."

Might I recommend you do a little research on exactly how long insurance has been around..

As far back as 1688, shipowner's were negotiating insurance deals on voyages in London.

Yeah right. And people lived for so long without the mobile phones and they could still communicate. I bet you've had some bitter experiences with insurance that makes you come to such a conclusion. But not all insurance companies are frauds. You need to do a lot of research work before you want to buy insurance from a company. It's not cake walk. There will be people who will want to trick you and take your money. But, it is your money and you need to be alert.

Life and Health are not my specialty. I've been in the Property & Casualty side of the industry since 1991.

I was an independent agency owner until 2006 when I sold my agencies.

Currently, I work for a software development company that specializes in automation solutions for the insurance industry. While I really enjoy what I do, I do miss working one-on-one with the public. This forum offers me the opportunity to fill that void.

Many people don't have a full understanding of insurance. Not much is taught in high schools about the basic needs of insurance, the financial security it provides, pooling the risks of everyday life, and the benefits it offers our economy.

I can't tell you how many devastating events that have happened to my clients over the years and the direct impact insurance has played in their lives - restoring their financial status back to what it was prior to the loss. It has been a very fulfilling career.

Hi, it would be great if you'd give us a hint as to the kind of automation solutions that you guys are providing. I'm sure it's the beginning of another rewarding career for you. Although it's not the usual one-on-one, but I guess it's as much satisfying if it's meant to serve the end user successfully. Pinkfloydfan
