If you use your collision coverage (your policy) they you have to pay your collision deductible. If the other (at fault) party's company accepts liability, then it will be paid under that party's PD (property damage, liability) coverage, there is no deductible on that coverage.
So if your vehicle was hit while parked and you have no idea who did this, therefore cannot find out their insurance information, if you want your vehicle fixed it will be repaired under your collision coverage, and the deductible (that you chose) will apply. _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake.
