Hi.....I'm a resident of Hawaii and stay alone for the last 10 years or so.... the last weekend I had been accompanying one of my relatives driving downtown from a restaurant in the viccinity of the Lanai city. It was then that we came across a cab almost crushing us from the opposite side....in order to avoid it we had to hit a nearmost tree and came to halt. But I got severly injured and now getting hospitalized.
Once I gained conciousness my niece told me that the car in which I was travelling had a car insurance. Now I'd sincerely like to know if I may avail any of the benefits that the car may be endowed with, following this incident.

Hi Cross !
This is Lehman from Hana and I truely feel sorry about the incident. I'm sure you'd be much better sooner than I expect !
But at the sametime I feel its hightime for all of us residing in the hawaiian islands to be aware of the minimum mandatory auto insurance criteria. Don't you think so ??

hi ! I'm sure that theres a benefit called Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist benefit which ensures that even the relatives or other occupants in the insured car would be covered for sustaining any bodily injury due any accident while within the running car.
This would be surely possible if the owner of the car or the other driver involved in the accident have any dirth in terms of insurance coverage. Thanks.

Friends, according to the criteria the auto insurance in hawaii necessitates a minimum of $20,000 to be offered in terms of bodily injury liability for a victim, $40,000 in terms of all types of bodily injuries caused in an accident and also a $10,000 worth of property destruction caused in such a peril.
