St. 2007, c.58. An Act Providing Access to Affordable, Quality, Accountable Health Care. Added MGL c.111M and amended many other sections. Key provisions of the law include subsidized health insurance for residents earning less than 400% of the Federal Poverty Level, and low-cost insurance for all other residents who are not eligible for insurance through their employers.

Ahhhhh, Massachusetts, the first state to make people have health coverage. The cool part is that it actually worked.

Yup. Works pretty good, too, although it's going to have to be amended with this new federal BS that Obama's pulled off on us.

I'll be dog gone...I had no idea, that any state had mandated health ins...(I did check out the link)...when this new (bs I think you called it :wink: ) starts, would you mind...'dumbing it down' for us common folk ? :wink: I've tried to read it really I have twice...couldn't make it thru very many pages :roll: :lol:
