My parents are both in their early sixties and looking for insurance as green card holders. They don't qualify for Medicaid, they are under 65. My dad has heart chronic issues with double bypass surgery and diabetes. He needs on going checkups and medication.
Do they have any medical options giving his situation? They never worked in US and got their green card last year.

After staying in the US for 5 years your parents will become eligible for Medicare by paying a monthly premium. Till then you need to cover your parents' health with a health insurance plan from a private company. There are various coverage plans for inbound immigrants, especially for older people.

Bull s***. Simply being in the US for 5 years means nothing. Age 65 or 24 consecutive months on SSDI means everything. If a person is at least age 65, but not fully insured, then they pay premiums for both Part A and Part B.
Persons on Social Security and persons without green cards qualify for Medicaid in many states -- California is one of them that provides US dollars to pay for the health care of illegal immigrants.
If your parents do not qualify for Medicaid, it's because they have income and assets.
