I have just been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. I have an existing health insurance policy. Can I claim against that for the ongoing expenses?

Obviously a person can claim for the thing which comes under the insurance coverage. Arthritis effects too much to the health and so a person has to undergo medical treatments again and again which may even have high expenses and so a person can claim his insurance company for the same thing.
