How will Obamacare help the uninsured?

How exactly the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) is going to help working people who don’t have access to health insurance? I am talking about those people who even don’t make $10k per year. For instance, my employer doesn’t provide insurance. And I’m certain that once this becomes mandatory, they’ll opt for the cheapest option available. So please elaborate if you can. Thanks!

The ACA has nothing to say about those persons. They have coverage available under Medicaid.

So what's your complaint? The ACA does not require an employer with 50 or more employees to do anything other than provide "minimum essential coverage," and any "bronze" plan will do that. If you don't like what your employer provides, as required by law, then go find another job with an employer who provides a "silver", "gold", or "platinum" plan.

Wouldn't we all like to know the answer to this question. The ACA merely removes preexisting conditions as an impediment to obtaining health insurance -- the single biggest complaint people have always had about health insurance. The "Affordable" part has little to do with actual premiums as people are beginning to discover.
