Health insurance for senior citizens other than Medicare....

Hi All,
I came to USA on immigration when I was 60 and naturalized last year. I was working and my employer provided the health plan for my wife and me. I lost my job two months ago and I applied for COBRA coverage.
I am a senior citizen now and I am told that the 65% COBRA rebate does not apply to me. Since I have not got 40 Social Security credits, I have to pay about $520 per month to get Medicare Part A and Part B. I do not qualify for Medicaid as my resources are more than $3000. At the same time I cannot afford the monthly premium for Medicare.
I am reasonably healthy and do not need any prescribed medication. Are there any insurance companies which will provide basic health insurance for senior citizens who do not have Medicare?
I know that I am in a situation which is exceptional for senior citizens. I'd appreciate any feedback on this matter.

If you are over age 65, then no company I know of will provide you with health insurance.

You search more online health insurance on internet. And the rate is low, but you should choose which one is scam, when you know more about the policy. Then you can choose one company which you can believe it and go to there office and discuss more detailed with the agent. After that you can get more useful information.
