| We shouldn't be "bashing" ANYONE on this forum. We should look at the facts and give our professional or personal opionions. This forum is NOT to beat up on each other. the person, who STARTED this thread ALREADY feels confused enough. |

Profanity and name calling will not be tolerated on this site....please clean it up if you post again (if you haven't already been banned)....
tcope, and I and several other regular posters on this site are adjusters....that isn't a dirty word....we take our jobs seriously and devote our time to help people on this site....
Had you read the entire thread you would've figured out with your vast knowledge of insurance claims that this will more than likely be a limits case, both on the liablity and UIM side....an attorney in this particular case, just might not be the way to go, since there are 'limited' funds available for this injured party..... _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake. | I really would like to thank the adjustor's for their input. I am also very glad that they think I would be getting limits. I have a question about when tscope said that it is a relief that I have health insurance to the adjuster. Does this mean that my insurance company isn't going to be reimbursed ? I know that they want to be reimbursed. |

| Yes, your medical insurance should/will want to be reimbursed and would assume that they have already had to sign something saying such. I know I was always relieved when someone had medical insurance to handle their bills while the claim was ongoing. And no, it was not because they were not going to be considered (they will be). It was because that medical bills start mounting up on people and if they did not have medical insurance they either had to find a way to pay them or let them go to collections. I would feel for these people, but also understood that insurance companies do not usually pay for the bills as they come in. Accidents cause hardships in many ways, and if there is medical insurance it just makes it easier while the claim is ongoing. So it is not a claim thing, it is a human thing… regardless of what janedoe thinks. |

penguinmom, Dasfuk, answered the question exactly...it's a relief because we know without health coverage there is added stress on the injured party, and (as Dasfuk stated) we cannot except in a very very rare occasion pay any med bills until the claim is settled which can take considerable time....it's just a relief to know they are being paid, as they come....that's all... _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake. | I just read this whole post and all I could think is how rude! Tscope and Lori both give freely their time and advice. Anyone who has been a member for a while knows that they deserve to have respect. I think Jane needs to find a new site or apologize. |
