When my brother was driving without a license and wrecked ()of course he was drinking too) the car insurance refused to pay anything and he was held responsible to pay bank for the car loan. Not sure if it was the license, driving while drunk, or both but they did not cover anything.

Fireyone, I have seen more of this with nonstandard companies. Some of them have expanded on the "operating the vehicle without a reasonable belief that they are entitled to do so" exclusion to add language like, "Without limiting this exclusion, someone without a valid driver's license cannot reasonably believe that he or she has permission to operate the vehicle."

This exclusion does not hold up in all states, and especially it does not always hold up with respect to minimum limits of liability.

I'd bet he was surely non-standard and likely sr22 as well...most likely (as stated) his policy contained language that clearly laid this all out.

"Driver," is defined in the Federal Code, as one who uses the highways, for commercial purposes. Private, travelers, are scammed into a drivers' license, by govern mental constructive fraud; forcing, a coerced abrogation of Federal and state rights; ie., no person can be forced to give up one right, to, secure, another.... to, defraud the right to travel, into, a permission slip from the Gestapo... called, a drivers' license.... assuring the Gestapo, unfettered access, to, usurp, your right to be secure, in your own property, against, Bad boy, whatcha gonna do, Gestapo, Stormtrooping roadside third degree, interrogations, under color of law...

The state of PA ( I live here..) is pretty strict about that. I do know a few people that DID have a valid DL, and DID have Insurance, however.....the were driving DUI. I don't know all of the details of the accident. My friends Insurance Co din't pay for ANYTHING. My thought?....when you get behind the wheel, you are 'telling' other drivers you are responsible enough to make good decisions. Obviously...driving DUI is NOT a good decision.
