Can someone suggest some health insurance companies. I am in my late 20s and female and all the quotes that I have been getting are around $250. I can't get it through work. I don't mind a high deductible as long as it doesn't exceed $1000 for say a hospital visit. Or, is there anything kind of emergency insurance in the case I need to go to the ER.

I heard about the temporary/emergency health insurance… and some health insurance companies provide that plan with flexible options. I have found one in Florida.
