Hello to all the members of this wonderful community.
I have been working in the internet environment for almost a year but this is the first forum that I have joined to. I am very delighted to see a forum such as this. Actually, I had been in the insurance industry for more than a year. Even though I have shifted to a different career, I can't leave the idea of life insurance behind.
This community is very helpful to most people especially to those who have questions about insurances. I think I have a reason to stay in this community. I expect a lot of things to be learned here.
I am planning to set up a site that is centered on life insurance selling. My goal is to help those life insurance agents achieve their sales goals. After that site is finished, i would be very glad to link this community to that site. I know there are many people who would benefit from this.

You are asking for the benefit of having an insurance policy. The main benefit of having an insurance policy is for protection. There are many types of insurances and all these are centered in protecting wealth as well as properties.
Take for instance life insurance. Life insurance is designed to protect the income of a certain person. As we all know. life is very uncertain. "L-IF-E". In the middle of life we can see the word "IF". This simply shows uncertainties in every aspect of it. The main idea of life insurance is to protect the income of the person in times of uncertainties.
When something bad happens to the breadwinner of a certain family, this can affect the whole income of such family. (Income surely decreases). Life insurance protection is not designed to increase the status of that family, but it can surely help in maintaining their current status in life. Remember, the general thing is that when the income of a person increases, it has lesser effect on him but when the income decreases, it can be felt even it is just a small amount.
Insurance is for protection. Maybe, it is not made for wealth accumulation, but it is indeed designed for wealth preservation.
