I contacted Allstate for a homeowner insurance quote, the agent said that Allstate currently do not offer homeowner insurance, instead, Allstate referred me to Tower Select Insurance Company, does anyone know if Tower Select Insurance Company is reputable and settles claims promptly and fairly?

I am in Southern California, does anyone has any experience or advise on which homeowner insurance carrier is more reputable and settles claims promptly and fairly? i.e. AAA, Mercury Casualty, Allstate, Tower Select?

Thank you.

Did you try State farm? I guess the range of services that they offer in SC is pretty wide.

As to what 'level' of service that might be is anyone's guess. I would prefer to give them the benefit of the doubt. Certainly Alstate has been extremely equitable to me and mine.

State Farm Home owners Insurance with Car insurance it is a good deal.

I'm sure there are thousands of people across the US who might have a completely different opinion.

What you've written is simply that, an opinion, and you are certainly welcome to it.

Do not have a claim with them. Otherwise they are just like anybody else, ok. They will find reasons to not payout your claim or assist you in doing so. They are only in the bussiness of making money from you not helping you. If you do have a claim be prepared to get an attorney to help you to get what is rightfully yours. Otherwise they are great.
