I guess State Farm is a good option. You may also check the quote-offer from Allstate.

Finding insurance for a log home should be no different than for any other type of construction. Just may affect the cost. If that's a consideration, check out the "No Burn" product. I used it on my home two years ago when we remodeled and were down to the bare frame.

Contents may catch fire, but I do not fear the loss of my structure due to fire.

Well, I guess it has some thing to do with the construction rates in your state. State Farm is cool if you can manage to pay a bit more towards the cost of your logs. Insuring your log home would be worth 20% more than it's standard equivalent.

I have to pay a ball park figure worth $700-$750 a year for my premiums. It includes the coarse of construction as well as the structure.

Buildings & Contents Insurance

Some insurance companies do cover homes that are under construction. This insurance is called a Builders Risk or Course of Construction policy.

Such a policy protects homeowners and builders from liability on a construction site from loss due to theft, vandalism and accidental loss, damage, or destruction. When your home is complete, the construction policy may convert to a regular homeowners policy or you can purchase a different policy.
