I have posted across several forums ever since my LTD got terminated. A lawyer has been retained to look after my case. I know it wouldn't be wise to ask- but it would be great if you guys could give me an idea of how long it might take! A forum pal told me that it might even take an year to collect the much needed info. I'm at a loss now that I'm not too sure of whats gonna happen.

It most certainly could take this long or more (sorry) what does your attorney say their best guess is?

One vital thing is that you stand more chances of getting generic answers to this topic. You've certainly done one good thing by hiring an LTD attorney. An LTD attorney would certainly know more on the published averages regarding the duration or the right time to appeal as well as the time of the trial. He'd also be able to know your policy provisions and explain to you much better.
