Posted: Mon Apr 12, 2010 2:40 pm   Post subject: Temporary, partial LTD (group insurance) and unempolyment el   I was terminated (NY state) after 12 weeks of disability (employer could not make the reduced-schedule accommodation required by the physicians), and I have a claim under review for temporary, partial long term disability (group insurance). Posted: Wed Apr 14, 2010 3:45 am   Post subject:    That's a question for the unemployment office. There's a chance, but picking up the phone and giving them a call is the best approach. Not being emloyed could be a problem with the group LTD. You should be eligible for NY state's DBL. It won't be a lot, but it'll be some money, if you are not receiving it already.
