i would also like to be a contributer to a book as i can advise consumers on what to watch for to stop the fraud being committed by the restoration companies that are doing the work. for example, you the homeowner, are entitled to have a copy of the contract for the work that is to be done in your home. my experience with this aspect is the homeowner needs to ask for a copy as you will not be offered a copy by no one. having a copy of the contract will insure that you are getting what was quoted to you as some claims are quite large and you, the homeowner may forget all that was supposed to be repaired and replaced. example at one residence i started to paint baseboard and door frames. the homeowner approached and asked me why i was painting them as he was under the impression that they were being replaced. i stated my work order said to paint them. i then started to paint the doors and again was approached by the homeowner who stated that he thought the doors were being replaced. at that time i asked him if he had a copy of the contract and he replied no. i advised him he needed to have a copy. he was supplied with a copy of the contract and sure enough it stated that all the doors, frames and base were to be replaced. do u have to be a brain surgeon to see what the bigger picture is here. 95% of homeowners do not realize that they are entitled to a copy of that contract. so i do believe i could contribute to some extent on a book.

Keep visiting the ampminsure forums regularly (whenever you have some time to venture into the unknowns of the global insurance industry). Since you have been maintaining the fire & car insurances, hence your knowledge about those two branches ought to be better than the novices. Under the circumstances, you'd probably come to great help for all who post at the "Getting started" or "The Pub" forums. At the same time interacting with the people out there would surely enhance your knowledge at other insurance coverages.
All the very best!

Hi there,
I just authored an ebook entitled "My Mother is a Liar". The ebook is a collection of insurance stories and sales ideas to that a salespeople can use to in sales situations.
If you plan to write an ebook, let me know. I can share my experience with you.
