In the U.S. in my experience they do, unless your agent has you sign an exclusion.

If you have the terrorist attack coverage attached to the policy you'll receive the compensation for the damages. The homeowners and auto insurance policies cover damages caused by terrorist attacks because these policies haven't included exclusion against such perils.
However, many insurers now offer terrorism insurance to cover damages caused in a terrorist attack. These changes have taken place after the 9/11 attack in USA. |

depends on the type of policy all auto and homeowners policys i've seen exclude it..not sure about life policys good question.

is it necessary that i should have to take a separate policy for that or it can be covered as under any rider plz. do clarify this to me as it is very important in the event of recent terrosist attack in the mumbai india

you need to talk to your agent pune...we don't know what the policys in india say...actually have no idea at all...call whomever you bought the policy from....i thought you were an agent?

actually i am an insurance agent for life insurance but i am unaware about this new thing which is a terrosist attack.so i wanted to know about it so i can definately forward it to my existing clients.

Since you are a life agent, pull out the policys and read them, if it's excluded it will say so in the policy..
