My doctor is still treating me and hasn’t told be that I can go back to work but my insurance company is denying my disability claim. Why is it doing so? Can I sue the company for this?

This might happen if the insurance company goes for a medical investigation.
They can send your case to their doctors for review or to an independent doctor for a peer review.
If those doctors or even one of them express the view that you can actually get back to work, the insurer may reject your claim.
You can contact your insurer and ask for a clarification.

Hi

I completely agree with Jane.

Under such a situation you should consult an insurance professional. He/she will guide you in a better way.
