I've been working as a customer support associate since the beginning of 2003 and since last one month I'm experiencing partial hearing loss for which I am unable to continue with my services. I don't have any disability insurance. Can I get any sort of aid from the Social Security department as disability benefit?

In this case, this answer is probably 100% incorrect. To qualify for SSDI benefits, one must meet the following criteria:1) Be diagnosed with a disability expected to last 12 months or longer, or result in death.
2) Be under age 65 and disabled a minimum of five "full months" (the waiting period)
3) Be unable to engage in "any substantial gainful activity"
Deafness does not, in and of itself, prevent a person from working at some jobs or other "substantial gainful activiy." Unless you can meet that nearly impossible standard, you cannot collect SSDI benefits. Nearly 80% of all SSDI applications are denied. But of those which are appealed, nearly 90% are awarded to the claimant. Only about 25% of denials are appealed.
After age 65, a person cannot be disabled. But they will be retired and collect their Social Security Retirement benefit (which will be about 20% lower than the SSDI benefit.
