Is auto insurance optional in any state?

Hello everyone! I am a new member of this community. In most countries, auto insurance is mandatory by law. Are there any state or country for that instance that auto insurance is optional?

Unfortunately I do not know of any that do not require auto insurance at all....but would you really want to be with out insurance?

yeah some i think other state doesnt require you to have a insurance
