Hello. I've been hunting with no success for articles or books that explain how insurance works as far as how they calculate rates with the DOI, filings they make,etc. I'm a Commercial Account Manager and find this would be useful. (Do personal lines too)

There is a wonderful insurance calculator tool on the side bar here to the left. You may want to pm admin to see if they can explain in more detail, how and why this tool takes the information it does to calculate the insurance premium, hope this helps. goodluck.

do a search for community books also, I read in the thread for earning money, one of the people in there was gonna write on this subject, you can go there, there is a link to all the books that people have written for the site.
