a crook is a crook is a crook, no matter what area...and NONE of them like being caught! to tell the truth though, i have never KNOWINGLY done anything wrong and certainly not illegal in my claims handling, but when i know the DOI has a claim i was involved in i just hold my breath! I wonder if anyone knows of a class action lawsuit against auto insurers who use credit scoring as a way to determine auto insurance rates. Seems to me that since liability insurance is required by the state (in my case, Texas) - it should be based only on the driving record, nothing else...I'm speaking only of liability insurance here, and seems to me that the insurance companies who charge those with a lower credit score MORE for the state required coverage are stepping on the rights of the consumer. _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved.
