GROUP I EXAM

Anybody recently take or remembering taking the required GROUP I EXAM for when you had to get licensed??

I'm having trouble with this test. It is an easy test when you have studied enough, but the problem I'm having is that the test is compiled of MISC and RANDOM DETAILED questions from the 200 page book that they gave me to study from.

My problem is that I can't absorb it all just by reading a 200 page book. I need interaction with people helping me to learn the material, and visuals such as a dvd or flashcards.

Anybody got any study suggestions for me?

THANKS!!

Good morning Linzy and welcome to the forum, I hope that you find the interaction that you need here. What a different way to see this forum, sort of a study guide, I like that.

You have come to a good place for this, there are lots of pros here from the industry and I am sure that one of them would be happy to take you under their wing and mentor/tutor you. :D :D

I wish you luck on your venture for knowledge and interaction! :D

Come on guys and gals, help Linzy out here. :P :P :P

Hi,
It would always help you if you'd be methodical regarding such voluminous test materials. The Hondros college materials may come in handy at this juncture. If you'd like to have a glimpse of the materials, here is a demo-
hondros.edu/programs/insurance/insurance-training-options/ (you just need to copy+paste it in your web browser).
All the best!

I believe thats the problem with many of us, & it is then that we need to be a bit more selective. Anyways, lets see if you could derive anything out of the following links,
i> kaplanfinancial.com/kfs/Insurance-Licensing/Index.asp
ii>search.dmv.org/search?w=insurance+license+exam&mainresult=mt_mainresult_yes&tz=TX
Please do let us know!

Would it help you if you posted a scenerio or a question from a topic and see what responses you get from the forum that way. You could in a sense start your own discussions on topics and see where it goes. Just a suggestion.

Yeah...okay I will...Maybe today after I've read some of the material...and after I've found something that I don't understand..

The thing is....when I'm reading the material from the book...It all makes sense to me as I'm reading it....My PROBLEM is absorbing every single darn detail from that book and just knowing every piece of information about every little topic in that book.

My test results show that the topics I need help with are: -Policy Provisions, Options and Riders....-Annuities, -Federal Tax Considerations, -Qualified Plans, -Medical Plans & Group Health Insurance

I feel for you, I remember that in college, my eyes would get so tired, I would just pass out in my books, had to go get a pair of reading glasses, my eyes would get so fatigued, I would literally fall a sleep in my books.

We are here for ya, come on now, post so we can learn with you
