Hi Pheren,

I agree that a lot of good educational websites have come up these days!
But I'd also like to say that books would be a good support for you while you have an exam coming your way.
Apart from that you can always come up with basic queries at knowledgeable forums like ampminsure.org. I'm sure the community people would be helping you understand the basics!

Hi..I can also suggest that you make good use of the search box at the top of this site. Or for that matter simply forward any question that you may have through the 'Ask A Question' box provided at the right hand side panel of the site.
Thanks,

I wonder what kind of insurance exam Pheren is going to take.

Normally exam candidates will be advised of the type of textbook or reference book they need to study if the exam is conducted by some examination body. Else, it is unfair for the candidates.

Unless the exam is based on common sense or general knowledge, then it is dependant on the depth and the width of the knowledge of the candidate on the subject matter.

The best way to prepare for an exam is to check with the examination body for the syllabus and scope of study so that you can hit the right nail on the head.

I have no idea but I can imagine the size of the textbook. All the insurance laws are confusing to me and everytime I think I got an idea there is always something else or a clause thrown in their. Good luck.
