Wind damage is covered in most home owners policys. flood of course is not...I don't know anything about what the pres...said, but it doesn't make any sense to me to add the peril of wind, (unless it's wind driven water)...to a flood policy. _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake. What I know- ..some serious allegations had been put against the insurance carriers for denying payouts following the Hurricane Katrina in august 2005. They were accused of forcing the claims to move onto National Flood Insurance program. The homeowners' problems were acknowledged by the law makers and as a result of it the wind-damage coverage was added to it. Steven
