Hi to all , i am just a newbie here and you may call me Jhing. My experience with getting insurance was not a good one. We have been deceived of taking scam educational plan for my brother and fake insurance policy for my father, we really had a tough time with that, but since i joined here, i guess you will be supportive for me to learn more about taking legit insurance and all. | Hi, JAJOHN. Yep...lots of members, on this forum, can REALLY help you out. I know there are SEVERAL 'Insurance companies/Agents' that prey on people, ..OR...if they ARE legit, make sure ( when you DO get one that meets your needs..) they are there for YOU and NOT themselves. |

sdchargersfan is right. You should have inquired about the companies who sold you the policies. People will do anything to get business these days.

Where from did you buy this coverage? Many have earlier been deprived of such coverage offered by tele-marketers.

| Im pretty sure that there are more legal insurance company right there but unfortunately you fall in the wrong company. Anyway, before going on to an insurance company, make sure to have a research regarding with them. Sometimes, offers that much more better than others makes you decide to choose that company. Though they have good offers you are still not sure if you can claim it when the time comes that you need it. I agree that this forum would help you for anything you ask for coz a lot of people here look very knowledgeable about insurance. |

This is where people fail to judge the company. Because they offer exiting offers does not mean the the company is doing good business or it has a good reputation in the market.

| There are government regulatory section for each state. If you are going for an 'Off brand" insurance cmpany in the market, you should always check with its registration with this government body. At least you will have a 'good say' against the scam and this board also have a watchon its beheavior in the market. |
