Hi,

I don't think its gonna get counted from the date of your light duty....rather I've heard that its from the date of injury OR the date that you got informed that the injury could be work-related.

I say this since the DOJ for your light duty is not the point of sufferings...rather it is the date of injury or the date that your work could have proven fatal is the point of sufferings!

Keep us informed.. Plasmahectic

Well, in case you see that they are turning down your claim, I'd request that you shouldn't waste anymore time.
You need to get in touch with a WC attorney & get your claim petition filed. If you do it soon after your injury date, it would be worthy of your claim. The lawyer would be a better person to help you achieve the maximum benefit out of your claim. Thank you!

What does your doctor say about this? Has your doctor released you to light duty? I, too am not getting the full picture here. You have no mention of what your doctor has released you to, that would be the first person that I would consult with and then the attorney about the light duty. If your physician does not release you back to work then you need to stay on the comp until you get that release, please address what your doctor says?

I recently went back to work on light duty. I wanted to return so I went to my doctor and talked them into light duty and then called my atty. I did not give the atty a chance to say not to. I would think yours would be from the time you couldn't work and then once you started even on light duty your workers comp would quit. Stop back and explain a little more please.
