McCain wins in a landslide.
No, don't think for one moment I'll be diappointed and have to eat crow if Barry Osama gets elected.
I WANT THE BUSH TAX CUTS TO SUNSET on December 31st 2010.
Many, many, many, many more people will then need my products and services come January 1st 2011.
So........... Sock-it-to-'em-Obama!
Although Obama would have had nothing to do with it anyway as EGTRRA 2001 dies all by itself December 31st 2010.
Then a new Federal Estate Tax MONSTER comes back to life.
But don't worry a dozen Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts only costs about $24,000 EXCLUDING the policy itself!

Here is what I want to know.
Since the press is deathly (and economically) afraid to print/say anything bad about Obama before the election, how long will it be after the election when Obama becomes fair game and the press starts to attack him (for his friends, past, drugs, etc)?
I say six months.

...a New York minute...sometime after midnight...November 5th 2008...
EXCEPT he's not electable and they know it.
If he was, he wouldn't be running ads in Florida about 5 to 1 to McCain't.
McCain't signs out in peoples lawns are easily 20 to 1.
Can't hardly find an Osama sign.
By the way, to be fair, either way, EGTRRA 2001 dies December 31st 2010.
For those of you who may read this thread and not understand, Life Insurance Benefits are ADDED back into your Estate for Federal Estate Tax purposes.
This won't hurt your Dad, nor will it hurt your Mom. It's YOU who gets slapped with the 55% Federal Estate Transfer Tax upon the death of the second spouse.

Ya' know I HATE politics period...I think Ob.will get elected no sweat, here's the thing though either way...how long do you think the poor guy will be in office before some nut (racist) takes a shot at him? Seriously, and on the other side, how long before some crazed person that wants a woman president trys to wack the old guy? I'd so be looking over my shoulder...I think my husband (who actually pays attention to this crap) said that OB has more security than any pres. has ever had....not sure if I got that right, I tend to glaze over and only hear 'wa-wa-wa' when he talks about politics or money..

My predictions:
If Obama wins the government will print more money to pay for useless programs.
If McCain wins the government will print more money to pay for useless programs.

A $1 million dollar exemption (2011) isn't any kind of significant hurdle to overcome when taking into consideration the "value" of a small business, a person's home, life insurance and a few bucks in an IRA, 401k or other non-qualified pension plan.
I'll say it again:
The dirty little open secret whereby the Probate Practice Attorneys and the Federal Govenment clean up is when???
