UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE The latest news flash from the "You Gotta Be A Complete and Utter Idiot" spam email bonanza!! The latest, greatest phish promises me: Got an email at work, wish I would have forwarded it home to cut and paste, but alas...I didn't. A woman from Oslo, Norway presented me with this AMAZING offer, and I have to admit, I felt kind of sympathetic towards her. Let me elucidate on her poor plight and what I plan to do to help her out of her terrible situation. I feel so badly for her... Seems her husband suddenly dies in a horrible accident and she's having a hard time transferring "millions of dollars" in funds that were held in her husband's name to her name! Her husband didn't have a will "that they can find" and the courts have frozen the dead guy's assets until such time as the court can appoint a conservator to watch over the $$$. Seems they don't trust her that much. Poor lady... She was contacting me because we have a mutual friend who recommended me as a person who could qualify through the Norwegian court system as the conservator of her dead hubby's millions of dollars. Wow! In exchange for me agreeing to be that conservator, she would forward me $100,000 immediately and 25% of the funds after they're released. All she wants is my bank account number so that she can forward my $100,000 to me and me to sign and fax back some forms. She says that she will deposit the $$$ as a "good faith gesture" before I have to sign anything. I think I'm gonna help her out. Anybody want in? heehee InsTeacher
