Is there anything like group travel insurance rate? BTW where from you all are getting travel insurance? thanks in advance.

Incase you are looking for a HAL package you need to pay for its travel insurance coverage at that instant. I would not suggest you opt for that, since you would not get a single penny out of that coverage once you opt out of that package. You could surely wait till the final payment and then get the travel insurance for yourself. It would be of great help, if you could refer to the regular proposals on the boards.

You might even get a chance to share information pertaining to a better policy that you once came across. One of the advisors has even informed me of a policy where you can get all your money back even if you opt out of the package before making your final payment. I feel it sounds okay!

There are some insurance companies who would cover pre-existing health conditions falling under the non-HAL category. Even a day ahead of your journey you might get covered with a pre-noted heart condition. But this has to ensure that you had procured a travel insurance policy within 14 days of booking. In case you never had any heart related problems and obtained the policy on the day of the final payment you are bound to get the coverage.
