I'm looking for a health insurance policy that will also cover breast cancer. I'm still unaware of the different coverage features that I should be looking for. _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

| There are some policies that cover you for treatment opinions. This is helpful when you're suggested to go for any surgery. Almost all plans will cover you the expense of 2 opinions. Medicare would probably cover a third opinion in case the first two vary with each other. |

| Sometimes it's not possible for us to continue our work while we're going through a treatment. Under such circumstances, your health care benefits and your job will stay protected under the family & medical leave act for about 12 weeks. |

For women over 40 years, the routine mammogram screening is covered under group health plans across all states except Utah. You'd be covered for tests like certain diagnostic mammograms, ultrasounds, MRIs, CT scans etc. _________________ Insuranceguy.ampminsure.org |

Your plan should cover you for treatments like - mastectomy, radiation and lumpectomy. Check if the plan would bear the cost of prostheses too.
There are certain complications arising out of mastectomy or breast reconstructions. Your plan should also cover you for such complications. _________________ AmPmInsure Blog |
