Can you inform me about the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program?
I've heard that the ERRP application are accepted now. Is that correct?

Yes, the applications are to be accepted now. The ERRP will pay back employers in terms of medical claims. Such claims would be met for retirees over 55 or more who haven't met the Medicare eligibility criteria (along with dependents).

80% worth the cost of your claims would be paid back (towards healthcare benefits ranging from $15,000 - $19,000). Once you participate in such a program, you'll be able to forward claims regarding medical care continued since 06/01/2010.

Such reimbursements are aimed at lowering the cost of health benefits all members of this plan as well as the sponsors. Americans would surely benefit from this ERRP program as they'd enjoy health benefits more than what they used to.

Ones who'll go for an early retirement, will be able to pick out of a number of additional coverage programs when the ERRP ends in Jan, 2014. Such options will be offered in exchange for health insurance.
